Book: Pipocando by Rolandindo e Bruno Rock
I bought this book on a whim a few weeks ago because it has lots of movie references and I thought it would be an interesting read. Turns out, this book was written by two youtubers who discuss all things movies and tv shows. I haven’t watched their videos, but the book basically talks about their lives and what they do and its pretty interesting. My favorite part about this book are the picture drawings, because they incorporate themselves into movie characters and it turns out pretty cool.
Hey guys! Welcome to another weekly top favorites, where I discuss all my current obsessions.
TV Show: Criminal Minds
I’ve always loved watching criminal minds, or really any show that deals with CSI/Crime and mystery. I’ve never watched criminal minds in order, only when it was on tv because for some reason I don’t mind watching these kinds of shows out of order since every episode deals with a different crime, and the side plots are pretty easy to follow. But I got curious to see how this show started off since its been running for 12 years now, so I started from season 1 and I fell in love with all the characters all over again.
If you’ve never heard of criminal minds, this is what it’s about: An elite squad of FBI profilers analyzes the
I’m still trying to figure out if I want to just focus on one top favorite, or continuing to do multiple a week, what do you guys think is best? If I were to choose just one topic I would go more in depth of how I feel about said topic. But for now, I’m going to stick to doing multiple until I decide for sure. But I’d love to hear your guys’ opinion.
Now on to this weeks top favorites!
TV Show: How to Get Away With Murder
So many of my friends kept of recommending this show to me, and so I decided to give it a shot and I’m SO glad that I did. This show is absolutely insane, and when I thought things couldn’t get crazier it does. I’m almost done with season 2 and I’m still wrapping my head around the plot and the situations the characters get into. I went into this show without knowing anything about it, and for some reason I thought it was going to be a CSI/Criminal Minds type of show, but I was wrong. I highly recommend it, and I suggest going into this show blind sided, because it makes it that much better and crazier.
As many of you know, today’s blog post allows my inner fan girl to come out and well, fan girl. I have quite a few obsessions and every few days I always find something new to love and share. So, without further a do, here are my current favorites.
TV shows – Salem
This show only has 3 seasons, and I’m pretty sure it got cancelled, but I’m not 100% sure on that one. But, I’ve already finished season 1 and I love it! I have to admit, I almost didn’t continue on with this show after the first episode, because I didn’t think it was for me. However, something kept drawing me back in, so I continued on with this show and I’m so glad that I did.
This show is about the infamous Salem trials. I must warn you guys, if you don’t like scary things, or get scared very easily, I don’t recommend. I absolutely love scary movies/TV shows/books etc. but at times, even I got creeped out. I got very invested in the storyline and in some of the characters. I haven’t watched season 2 yet, but by how crazy that season 1 finale went, I cannot wait until I start it.
I’m always obsessing over something and sometimes I just want to go crazy and fangirl. Hence why I thought of this weekly post. This way, I get to share my emotions (I have many), recommend some good stuff to you guys and maybe we can fangirl together.
TV Show: Skam
Guys, this show is easily one of my favorite shows of all time. If you haven’t watched it, I HIGHLY recommend you do so. It’s a Norwegian show, skam meaning shame in Norwegian, but you can easily find it with english subtitles (I’ll actually link the videos I watched up above, if anyone is interested). If any of you have seen skins, its kind of like that but a watered down version, aka I can watch it when my parents are around. There are 3 seasons so far, and each focuses on a main character, and every issue that the characters go through are pretty relatable or at least very relevant in today’s society. Be warned, I found season 1 just a little bit boring in the beginning but trust me, it gets better.
