You know it’s been a while since you’ve created a post, that when you do, the whole format changed and you aren’t sure if you like it or not….
Hi everyone, it’s been a while!
So, this week while I was cleaning my bookshelf I came to the realization that I have quite a lot of book that I have put down, and have no interest in continuing. But I’m a bit torn in the whole situation, because I’ve always been a finish till the end type of reader regardless if I like the book or not, and if I don’t finish I end up feeling like a failure. I don’t know why I’m like this, especially since there are so many books that I do want to read and will enjoy, yet I waste my time on books that don’t interest me.
Book: Pipocando by Rolandindo e Bruno Rock
I bought this book on a whim a few weeks ago because it has lots of movie references and I thought it would be an interesting read. Turns out, this book was written by two youtubers who discuss all things movies and tv shows. I haven’t watched their videos, but the book basically talks about their lives and what they do and its pretty interesting. My favorite part about this book are the picture drawings, because they incorporate themselves into movie characters and it turns out pretty cool.

This weeks topic: Fictional Jobs You’d Want to Have – Any fictional career you’d want to have? Remember, T5W is always open to movies, tv, and video games as well.
5. Supernatural – Hunter
I would love to be a hunter and tag along with them! I love the paranormal and I’d die of happiness if I got to road trip around the US with those two hotties and fight off paranormal beings.
Hey guys I’m back!
I hope you guys had a lovely week. Well, I survived my first week of university and l loved it, I adore all my professors and my classmates. The only downside was that I got bombarded with assignments and had no time for myself. Every time that I got home from uni and drivers ed I ended up passing out on my bed. But now that drivers ed is finally over and I have an idea of how my uni schedule is going to be like, I can now fit my blog back into my life, woohoo! I don’t think I’ll be able to make a post for everyday of the week, at least not right now, so instead I’m going to post every other day. So here is the new schedule that I’ve made for myself.
How have you guys been? It’s been a few days since I’ve been on here. I started drivers ed last Monday and so far it’s going pretty well, but I can’t wait until it’s over. So on Monday I’m going to be starting my first day of university and I’m so nervous guys, I have no idea what to expect. I already had assignments to do this week for Monday and that plus drivers ed meant I had no time for myself, for this blog or for reading </3. I already know I’m going to be pre writing my posts like I normally do, but I’m not sure how well I’m going to be with interacting with you guys. I’m going to try really hard to make time for that because I personally love reading your guys’ posts, but I’m going to see how this week goes and see how I’m going to do it all. Please please please be patient with me while I sort my time out because I promise I’ll be active as soon as possible.
Thanks for reading ❤
Normally I do book tags on Thursdays but this week I decided to change it up a bit. I thought doing a tag about me would be a really awesome way for you guys to know me a little bit better.
1. Are you named after anyone?
Nope, my mom actually named me Beatriz because of its meaning “brings joy”.
2. When was the last time you cried?
3. Do you have kids?
Hey guys! Welcome to another weekly top favorites, where I discuss all my current obsessions.
TV Show: Criminal Minds
I’ve always loved watching criminal minds, or really any show that deals with CSI/Crime and mystery. I’ve never watched criminal minds in order, only when it was on tv because for some reason I don’t mind watching these kinds of shows out of order since every episode deals with a different crime, and the side plots are pretty easy to follow. But I got curious to see how this show started off since its been running for 12 years now, so I started from season 1 and I fell in love with all the characters all over again.
If you’ve never heard of criminal minds, this is what it’s about: An elite squad of FBI profilers analyzes the
This weeks international book of the week: Life of Pie by Yann Martel
Original language: English. I was pretty surprised this was listed as an international book until I googled the author and found out he’s originally from Spain.
Why I chose this book: This book has been sitting on my shelf for years and I’ve never picked it up. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to do so! I’ve never seen the movie and don’t really know what to expect, so I hope I end up liking it.
What this book is about: Life of Pi is a fantasy adventure novel by Yann Martel published in 2001. The protagonist, Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel, a Tamil boy from Pondicherry, explores issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age. He survives 227 days after a shipwreck while stranded on a boat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker.

Thanks for reading ❤
I’m finally posting my very first Saturday post! I love reading, but I also really love writing. Since my writing skills aren’t that great I decided to work on it this year. This post will allow me the creative outlet that I’ve been craving for and lets me better my writing skills. So please let me know your thoughts, and if there is anything I should improve on. I welcome any sort of helpful criticism.
This weeks prompt: Write a story that’s pure and beautiful but the last sentence makes it deeply disturbing.
This weeks discussion is diversity in literature. I’m going to be honest with you guys, I rarely read books that have any type of diversity. Now, this isn’t because I don’t like the idea of diversity because I do, but because every book I pick up typically has the same cookie cutter type of character, I can’t escape it. Diversity in books shouldn’t even be a rare thing, but I feel like it is and it shouldn’t be.
There are so many types of people in the world from different races, cultures, religions etc. and yet it’s always the same type of person that gets portrayed in books and I’m bored with that. Whats crazy is the fact that I was always so use to reading books that contained the same type of characters, white female/male, who lives a pretty easy life and if the books included any POC character or character with some sort of disability they would be the only ones and would be used as the token character. It shouldn’t be weird or odd to have multiple different characters throughout a book who are different from one another.
